Gregorian reflecting telescope, circa 1720.

Gregorian Telescope with two concave mirrors and an ocular for solar observation. The barrel is covered with black leather. The lateral bar is for adjusting the smaller mirror. The whole is mounted on a folding brass tripod with turned column, having a ball and socket joint to which the telescope is fixed.
