“QUTA Photo Machine” Ferrotype Dry Plates Camera

Ferrotype camera invented by H.E. HICKOX and F.A. PHILLIPS. Patented in England on 14 mars 1901. The apparatus enable the various processes to be carried out successively - loading, exposure, developing and fixing the images. Brass pneumatic shutter with focusing lens. The Quta could hold a stack of plates to the left of the lens. The sliding back was used to bring them into the usable position. Used plates fell into a developing tank while the next plate was positioned behind the lens. The upper part of the body pivoted to change formats. Rare outfit complete with accessories, in original box with documentation.
