Game: 8000 metamorphses

Game in paper covered box with paper edging imitating embossed silver and gold. The title is printed on the mauve paper: "Huit mille Métamorphoses, ou Moyen de faire en ce monde toutes sortes de figures. Gravées par Ambroise Tardieu. Paris- Femmes". The inside is divided into 3 compartments containing the cards that are cut into 3 sections. Silk ribbons to lift the packs of cards out. Circa 1830.
