“Le pantochrome” autochrome viewer

The pantochrome is a viewer for autochromes. Sold by top retailers following the discovery of this new photo process. It has a large biconvex lens with a viewing hood and a ground glass screen angled at 45° to give excellent luminosity to autochromes placed in the slot. (translated from the original advertising - see attachment)). Attractive mahogany construction.
