Pinhole camera “lens”
The pinhole aperture on a lensboard replaces a camera lens on any camera. Brass plate and disc on which there are 6 conical holes of varying diameter to give different sizes of image on the plate. This device gives a depth of field from close-up to infinity, making it possible to photograph large objects from close up, while keeping everything in focus, even on gelatin bromide paper, that has a rough surface. The result is that the photographer does not need the fragile ground glass or lens.
