Jules Duboscq, Landscape lens, Rare with this signature

Beautiful brass lens by the talented optical engineer and photographer Jules Duboscq (1817-1886). The lens comes with multiple aperture rings and a stopper. Focusing is achieved thanks to a rack and pinion knob. The back glass element is 5 cm in diameter. The focal length is around 240 mm. Circa 1860. French. Height : 8 cm, diameter of base : 6,5 cm.
