Projecteur 35 mm Guilbert

This rare 35 mm portable projector, for use in schools, was made by the Gaston Guilbert industries around 1920. According to the specialized literature of the time, this projector was meant as the successor to the "Kinematome Guil" which is featured in Guilbert's catalogue from 1914 to 1915. Our model is a later one called the « Guil 20 ». This device operates on a full geneva mechanism (French : croix de Malte). Lighting is assured by an electrical lamp. It can house up to 300m long reels. The hand crank is original as well . It is in excellent condition overall.
