Lapiposcope by LAPIPE
Extremely rare and early cinematographic apparatus.
M. LAPIPE patented the camera that bears his name on 8 September 1896: "A new system for taking and projecting moving images, called the Lapiposcope". This camera is fully described on 87 to 90 of Eugène Trutat's "La Photographie Animée". It claims, "Le Lapiposcope is the smallest cinematographic apparatus, measuring 15 cm by 14 cm and 10 cm thick."
