“Le Forain” Ferrotype camera by Eugène FALLER
"Le Forain" Ferrotype camera variant by Eugène FALLER.
This example appears to be older than the already rare, but more commonly seen model.
It has a landscape lens rather than a portrait lens. The base panel and the closing mechanism are different. It uses the same 3x4cm format plates, and the same nickelled finish to the metal parts. Attractive patina of age.
