Guitton de Giraudy. automatic plate-changing camera.
THere are two motors inside this camera. One arms the shutter and the other changes the plates. The mechanisms are operated by 2 keys on the front of the camera.
This varnished mahogany camera, for 13 X 18 cm plates, almost enabled the user to take time-lapse photographs according to an article in "La Nature" in 1895. (See Doc.)
