18th Century highly decorative Lampascope

Rare 18th Century highly decorative Lampascope with scroll and floral decoration, very much in the 18th century taste. The painting, colours, gold leaf and the thick metal mark it out from lanterns of the 19th Century. This model would have been found in lounges in the 18th C.
