Richard Frères – Compagnie Internationale des Wagons-Lits
This viewer was made by Richard Frères in association with the Compagnie Internationale des Wagons-Lits - international sleeper trains. It has a celluloid roll of stereo images that would have been shown to potential travellers, showing them scenes of their destinations and advertising related to various destinations. The instructions are in French and English on an ivorine plaque. Jules Richard did not forget to add that the views were taken with the recently invented Verascope. The viewer was nly distributed from 1896 to 1899.
