Rare leather covered folding tailboard camera by ANTOINE, 39 quai d'Anjou à Paris. Mahogany construction very nicely covered in fine black Morocco leather. Nickel-plated fittings. Keyhole slots for fixing the rear section. Spirit level on rear flap.
Antone was a member of the Chambre Syndicale des Fabricants et Négociants en Appareils, Produits et Fournitures Photographiques in 1896; On February 3 1890 he registered a patent for a hand camera.
