Magnifying mirror

The case stands on a black-japanned turned-wood base. Once open, the concave mirror gives an enlarged reflection of images slotted into the sliding holder in the lid. The position of the slider is adjusted to give the required effect. This type of viewer is often referred to as a "Miroscope"
