This stunning stereoscopic view of an aurora borealis was captured by Carl Störmer who was a renown mathematician, astrophysicist and scientific photographer. Among other things, the Norwegian scientist studied the movement of light particles in the magnetosphere during the phenomena of "Northern lights". 70 x 152 mm.
