Jules Richard Stereo Autochrome Prism Viewer
Uncommon Jules Richard Stereo Autochrome Prism Viewer, circa 1920. Specially designed for viewing 45 x 107 mm stereo autochromes. In the manufacturers catalogue it mentions "The special feature of this viewer is its prisms in front of each lens which laterally reverse the images. If one views an ordinary view from the gelatin side, or an autochrome from the glass side, the image appears the right way round and in 3D. Annotations also appear correctly." Nice example in mahogany with adjustable inter ocular distance on thenickelled eyepieces.
