Rare stereoscope in the form of a letter, ready to post. The lenses are specially flat, so that the folded viewer is no thicker than a regular envelope, the ’Carte-Lettre-Stéréoscope’ was produced for the 1905 World Fair in Liege, Belgium. When opened a heliogravure of the exhibitions entrance building can be viewed, in good and unused condition - the gummed and perforated edges are still mint.
